StarSun Health is committed to maintaining the trust and confidentiality placed in company by our customers and customers’ customers. StarSun Health fully complies with all applicable federal and applicable state statutes and rules regulating the use, maintenance, transfer, and disposition of PHI by adhering to the requirements of the HIPAA Privacy Rule and the HIPAA Security Rule. We also fully comply with all business associate obligations under HIPAA/HITECH, enabling us to provide the highest level of service to our customers.

The main goal of these regulations is to ensure the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient-identifiable health information. Compliance with these regulations requires providers and payers to review operational practices, modify administrative policy and process, and apply technology. StarSun Health is committed to delivering products that assist our customers in achieving these goals.

In order to administer and enforce this policy, StarSun Health has appointed a Chief Security and Information Officer.
